The Story
the origins
At the end of the 19th century, Fabiano Vedova began the family’s journey into viticulture. In the 1930s, his son Romano moved from San Pietro di Barbozza and acquired the first estate in Saccol di Valdobbiadene, in the Pavei area at the foot of the renowned Cartizze hill. Here, he established a flourishing farm that combined livestock, viticulture, the production of barrels and winery tools, and, of course, wine production and sales.
Growth
In the 1960s, the business passed to Tarcisio Vedova (known today as Nonno Tarcisio), who decided to focus entirely on viticulture and winemaking, expanding the cellar and acquiring new vineyards in the most suitable areas of Valdobbiadene.
the family winery
At the end of the 1980s, the azienda agricola Vedova Tarcisio was officially founded by his son Flavio, dedicated to his father and as a symbol of the family’s commitment. During these years, the winery was further expanded, and the family worked constantly to improve wine quality. The entire production chain is internal: from vineyard care to grape harvesting, from vinification to sparkling wine production, up to bottling.
Flavio continues to oversee winemaking with passion and precision, ensuring wines that best express the Valdobbiadene territory.
today
Today, the azienda agricola Vedova Tarcisio is led by Flavio, who carries forward the family project with dedication and determination. He personally supervises every stage of the process: vineyard care, vinification, sparkling wine production, and bottling. His commitment ensures that each bottle reflects the identity of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, uniting tradition and innovation.
Alongside him, the family continues to support the winery, but Flavio represents its heart and guarantees that every bottle carries the quality and authenticity that have always distinguished the Vedova Tarcisio name.
